Mathematics and Science have always been my favourite subjects. I have dreamt of becoming an engineer since I was in grade 5. Even today women make a very small percentage of the engineering workforce. Aspiring to be an Industrial Engineer myself, with an aim of doing my bit to contribute in helping to increase this percentage I founded UDAAN.

The primary goal of UDAAN is to increase interest and excitement of high school girl in engineering fields. I believe I can really motivate and encourage them to elevate their inclination and aptitude towards science and engineering and inspire them to choose engineering as their career path. I strive to share my love for science and engineering with the community through UDAAN by organising various career guidance lectures by inviting women engineers and women who run and manage industries. I also wish to conduct science hobby workshops, industrial visits, and do various activities to help them learn scientific and engineering concepts with fun.
